The Story Of The Gym

So, every junior has to take the standardized ACT test, right? It's on Tuesday, so I should be studying right now, but instead I'm writing this. Anyway, my school, Ballard, had this little ACT sign up thing where they crammed 7 classes worth of juniors into our gym to get us to answer questions before we take the test. Many things happened that made me question my life. First of, as I walk in, I notice my class in a certain row. Okay, cool, I won't have to awkwardly walk around the gym, searching for my name. I go to the back, since Zuberi has and always will be the last last name ever. I get to the last table, and it's for this other girl. So where am I sitting? The back of the gym, an empty seat stands alone. It holds a flimsy piece of paper with my name scrawled on it. Yes, this chair has no table, and is absolutely alone. So, while my fellow classmates get the privilege of having tables and neighbors, I sit alone in the back. Some teacher who I have never seen before sees me, and I guess she felt sorry for me, so she moved me to another class area. Soon after, we start answering the questions. In the Like, Dislike, or Indifference section, the questions were ridiculous. Now, I don't know when this sign up thing was last updated, but I can guarantee you, nobody takes this seriously. Maybe because the questions are so.... weird. Do you enjoy building bird feeders? Do you enjoy watching for forest fires? Do you enjoy packing things into boxes. Oh, of course, those are my hobbies. But hey, if the college people are interested in bird-feeder builders, or box packers, or lawn mowers, then by all means, LIKE.

Guys, my name is Eiman. This is my first blog ever. I want to start writing them because I feel like my life just has the weirdest moments that should be recorded, so I can tell anyone who cares. I'd love your feedback, and if this doesn't get tomatoes thrown at me, I'll probably write more. Knowing me, my blogs will probably turn into rants or weird diary quotes, but hey. If you like reading about it because it makes your life seem so much more pleasant, then continue on.
